Long videos that we may find on the web, or record during World Café events, can be combined with hypertext links to key segments of the video that argue, or argue against a particular point.
These argument maps then act as a summary of multiple interacting parts, but they also provide a pragmatic shortcut to authoring textual summaries to ongoing sets of debates. The map and the videos provide an evolving adjunct to well worked text.
