Here we look at how we might use and the techniques we need to interact with video from World Café events, and the Anthropological Archive.
# Seeking Video
We require the ability to seek (jump) directly to a section of video. The use cases for this are as follows: - Argument Maps of Long Form Video - Creative Mixes - Video Guides
It looks like we can define a set of functions that are useful in the creation of podcasts, while at the same time creating an advanced tool for knowledge workers to explore and analyse complex subject matter.
Deliberative would be such a tool. It could allow recording of video or audio, together with timing associated with interacting with long form video, interacting with other speakers in Video Conference Debates, and exploring web sites.
# Javascript Libraries
Plyr looks like a minimal javascript library that makes it easy to embed YouTube, Vimeo, and HTML5 video with the ability to interact and seek to specific points.
